A long run (about 400 km) on good driving roads in scenic country in autumn is in the final planning stage.

The tour will depart from BP Truckstop, Kwinana Freeway Southbound, near Leary Road, Baldivis 9.30 am Sunday 18 May (congregate there from 9.00 am) and return to Perth by 5.30 pm. The general plan is to go a bit cross-country from there to to the Southwest Highway and then head south to Collie and the Dam on good driving roads.

This run is aimed at having a picnic at the Dam and travellers can bring their own picnic or take advantage of the kiosk and BBQs at the dam to picnic there. Follow the signs to The Quarry, our planned picnic point.

It could be a good day for convertibles.
