  MW Car Club members have been invited to join fellow like minded motoring enthusiasts for a Classic Car Midweek Run.  The runs occur on a Thursday each month between March and November and have operated for many years.   The format is that cars assemble at the starting point, set off together and finish for lunch at a country hotel with ample parking. Total run time is usually around two hours driving time plus 30 minutes mid way toilet/pit stop. Directions are given by way of a line diagram and should be uncomplicated enough to allow for a driver to manage without a navigator. A simple questionnaire is part of the run and the entry fee of $2 per head is split amongst the top three winners of the questionnaire.  The run is subject to weather and the decision to go ahead is made on the Monday prior to the Thursday run date. Dates for 2026 are the 2nd Thursday of the month. April 9th, May 14th, June 11th, July 9th, Aug 13th, Sept 10th, Oct 8th, Nov 12th & a breakfast run on Dec 10th.   Our Club will be attending on the Sunday only, but we'll need you to Register by hitting the Registration Button so that we can organise car parking for you once we get there - the Pingelly people will be happy to keep space aside for us if they know we're coming.

  Rendezvous at our favourite starting point, Stirling Gardens in Guildford, around 10.00 am for a 10.30 am departure on a Club drive to Summer Creek Restaurant and Brewery in Bakers Hill for a 12 noonish sitdown at our club table.

  We'll have (old-fashioned) written instructions on how to get there in a meandering country-style way as a group, or you can stick it in Google Maps and head straight there if you wish. But we have a firm booking for 20 members and partners and friends so we need you to Register your attendance by pressing the Register Button on the Event Page, so there'll be a seat set aside for you when you get there.

  MT OMMANNEY HILL CLIMB

  BMW Club Members are invited to enter the Mt Ommanney Hill Climb to be run by the TSOA (Triumph Sports Owners Association) on April 27.  The cost is $110 and an AASA day licence (available on line for $60) is required.  Participants must wear a minimum of full length non synthetic clothing, fully enclosed shoes and a helmet.  Four runs up and down the hill are scheduled for each driver with the first being a "sighting run".  Full details including the Entry Form. Self Scrutineering Form, Supplementary Regulations and the Event Running Sheet are available from the TSOA Website.  This event is likely to be fully subscribed so please don't hesitate in registering if you wish to take part

  A casual evening event to attract more and especially new members to come out for a drink and to meet and socialise with other members and the Committee.

  We hope to turn this into a regular event to build our club camaraderie and make new members in particular to feel welcome and to be able to put names and faces together, to talk BMW  topics with fellow enthusiasts and to introduce their partners to the group.

  The Broken Hill Hotel is just off the end of the Causeway in Vic Park and street parking is good on week nights. Come along, wear your name badge and look for others in the lounge who are doing the same. You never know, the Committee might buy you a drink. The pub serves meals as well.

  No need to RSVP, just come along if you're free and would like to catch up with some fellow members.
